Ivy Lane in Henderson first came into existence in 1983 under the name of Newport Cove Vista Apartments. The development was built on the section of land around Sunset and Annie Oakley in the residential area of Green Valley in Henderson, which sits about seven miles to the southeast of Las Vegas.

The development has since undergone a conversion, turning it into a modern condo community.
